Emails, IMs, Attaching Items, Transferring Items

The asset server seems very messed up since the update. The grid has been open for 8 hours with communication in a very sorry state:

1. IMs are not getting transmitted.
   
2. Friends lists not working
   
3. Delivery and transfer of objects not working consistently
   
4. Email communication between objects are not working consistently
   
5. Rezzing objects usually takes several tries.

Why is the grid still up when SL is obviously broken from the update? Take it down and fix it.

RESPONSE:

Thank you Torley for the response. But the problems last night were far deeper than simple the friend's list issue. There were a couple of problems making transactions in SL unreliable and very insecure. It should have been taken down.

It does appear to be much better today.
