Can't Upgrade Account

I asked this sometime last year and told someone would look into it. It's over five months later now and still nothing has been done.

I can't use a credit card/debit card to upgrade my account because it's not supported (switch/solo) so I'd like to use my debit card or bank account through paypal like it says I can.

On my account details it says my payment method is Paypal, as I originally set it up to create a basic account. So it's recognising this fact. Yet, everytime I try to use Paypal to upgrade the account I get flicked to the Paypal page where I confirm the billing agreement, after that I am returned to the Second Life upgrade account page which now displays this message;

'An error occured while processing your request:
• The system encountered an error while processing your credit card information, please try again.'

Everytime I try it does this, and I'm not even trying to use a credit card! From what I can see there is no way to upgrade your account without having a credit card. If this is the only option why does the upgrade account page tell us we can upgrade with our paypal accounts?

This is highly frustrating as I want more out of Second Life but can't if Linden Labs refuse to allow me to give them my money. Please try and fix it or tell me what the problem is (although I can't see any problem on my behalf).

Hi Taliath--sounds like that error message may not accurately describe your situation, as you're trying to use PayPal.
