Hi,

I've been in SL since last Fall, and have always had a free account and been largely self sufficient (I make stuff and rent land). I'm currently 'Payment Info on File'.

I assume if I buy a few Lindens (whatever the minimum is, I will then be classed as 'Payment Info Used'??

Or does the second class only apply to people who have paid membership

Yes, if the transaction completes successfully, that's right. "Payment Info Used" is for when your credit card or Paypal on account has successfully billed. :)
