Working on Object Permissions

Is it in the works for object permissions to be independent of each other? As it currently is, something can be modifible and tranferable, but not *just* modifible. What if I want to make an object for someone that they can mod to suit thier needs (such as resizing), but I don't want them to resell it or give it away. It could decrease my original design's value, or even create competition if the other user makes and mod off my build and resells it!
Why would mod and transfer even be associated? Why couldn't tranfer just be independent?

Are there any *further* refinements to the perms system? Such as being able to resize, move and rotate an object, but not, say, retexture it? (I know you can move and rotate an no-mod object, which makes sense).
What about implementing this LSL?

I like my items to be scaleable, but I don't want them given away or messed with too much. =/

(is it possible to enable replies to this thread for further questions on my part?)

Sorry for the confusion. Mod and transfer are not actually linked. Transfer and Copy are however. All items must be transferable, copyable or both, it is not possible to create an object which is not transferable AND not copyable. This is part of our 'fair use' rules for permissions.
