An event I posted only for Sunday at 3pm showed up on the in world events schedule for both saturday and sunday but only showed up in the website events schedule for sunday as it was supposed to. ???? little bit odd.

Sounds like you may have being using the in-progress and upcoming events toggle, which won't show events in the past (Saturday).
