please can there be an official announcement on the complete process of purchasing a new island.
the land store announcement has as you all know cause a great bunch of hoopla and confusion among many island owners both old and new big and small.

the way the land store announcement reads. the only way to purchase a new island is through the new land store
also it gives the impression that any one can reserve a void next to existing islands not adjacent but in the vicinity.

both of the above items are not true and need official clarification

also there needs to be more clarification on how the land store works as is pointed out here

For instance, I've not seen it mentioned anywhere else in their official announcement or FAQ what Chris Linden said, which was basically that after the 3 month reservation is up it will not go back to auction and can be renewed directly. I then asked what price would be charged for the renewal and it basically turns out that you'll have to pay the average of all reservation auction costs which is kind of a nice way of them keeping a consistent higher income. Plus it means that, when you come to the end of the 3 months, you will not have a clear idea of exactly how much it's going to cost you as that figure will change continually. Plus it means that everybody will be monetarily affected by contentious reservation bids going higher and higher.

there also seems to be other items that have come form lindens that are not mentioned in the land store announcement but have been mentioned here

There have been a number of great questions in various threads that we did not anticipate when writing the original FAQ. We will endeavor in the next week or two to pull all those questions, and their associated answers, into the official FAQ.
