Hello LL,

Upon reading about the forum closings, I have concern regarding particular upcoming legal proceedings that have been filed in which the case complaint makes reference to one or more forum postings. I know that your attorney(s) are aware of the case.

Being that certain forum postings have been entered into evidence, will these forums be available for searching and for future reference, especially regarding legal matters? It's quite convenient for certain other parties involved that the forums would be starting a closing procedure at this particular point in time.

So I guess my question is will these forums be available for searching and reference? Are you hiding them, shredding them, burning them, or just making them read only? (Please forgive my choice of words, no pun intended.)

As residents work through certain “real world” issues, LL has made its' position perfectly clear. You have told us basically that some issues are real world matters that should be handled by real world courts and/or mediators. In situations where the forums were used by another resident to perform actions that may have been questionable by a Court of Law, the thread(s) in question are obviously admissible as evidence, correct? So please inform us as to whether or not they will be accessible for our future reference.

I have recognized and respected LL's position in this matter by cooperating and complying with your terms and policies while doing everything in my power to preserve the integrity of the SL platform. I would appreciate your cooperation as well.

Thank you for your response in this matter,
MadamG Zagato

As it stands, and as the forums contains so many posts of historical significance as what you refer to, the answer is yes, we intend to keep the closed forums read-only and available for searching. :)
