Would be helpful if

sorry i know you've probably ehard this a million times but it would be really ncie if the information oj the log-in screen matched up with what's shown on the status screen. i crashed and reopened SL client to see grid open up the top right. after failing 4-5 tiems to log back in i thought i'll just check the status screen in case and sure enough it's tell me the grids down.
this isn't the first times i've had this happen and it's a bit annoying to have that information up there on the login screen if it isn't accurate

I apologize for the confusion. I suspect the Grid was open but in a "Linden logins only" state, and the login screen wasn't updated yet. When you open up the SL client, it checks for the latest information. Perhaps we changed things shortly after you opened up the client, so it was not updated with the latest data.

We do our best to keep all information updated (always check the blog for the latest news), but sometimes during an emergency it might take us a few minutes before we can get it all synchronized. We'll continue to work on doing a better job of this, and thanks for the feedback.
