Want to show off to the web how cool the mapapi is and realized that the map images are over a month old. Is there going to be a regular update or is this an "as is" sort of thing?

SLurl map WAY out of date

The grid map used for SLurls is waaaay out of date and has dozens, if not hundreds, of "no image" placeholders throughout.
How often is it updated, and could we get a manual refresh soon?

Earlier questions came up on SL Answers about this too--Bo Linden knows about it and he's going to get to it as quickly as he can, he's swamped under more work right now. I'll forward these to him too.
