EA to buy Linden Labs?

Hey there.

Recently I have been hearing a lot of rumours about EA plans to buy Linden Labs.
I'm just looking for some confirmation as this will be a VERY bad thing.

EA will only kill off Second Life if they do buy LL in order to eliminate the competition for there rubbishy game, The Sims Online.

Please LL, don't sell. It will piss off a lot of the SL residents and SL wouldn't be the same without you, that is if it will even still exist
