What was the exploit that you are currently fixing?

It would be valuable to the resident community to be a little bit more forthcoming than saying just "we found an exploit, which involved a permissions bug". I'm sure many people shudder when they hear something vague about permission-based exploits. Remember when Frans Charming and others had all their hard work ripped off and ruined by a similar-sounding exploit.

If you're going to post anything at all, why not post some details so we're not left wondering?

One of our continuing goals is to be as transparent as possible. During a critical event, such as a grid attack or other outage, we try to release as much information as possible during the actual event, which as I'm sure you can imagine, is of a constantly changing nature. After such events, we often release post-mortems to help explain more details.
