Messages I didn't send bouncing to e-mail

I'm getting the following notices in my e-mail while I am off-line:

The Resident you messaged is in 'busy mode' which means they have requested not
to be disturbed. Your message will still be shown in their IM panel for later
viewing.

Of course, I'm offline, so how did I send the message that bounced? And these are about messages to persons with whom I have no acquaintance at all. It seems as if some sort of group IM is causing this. I never initiate group IM of any kind. It's such a confusing situation, I'm not sure how to bug report, but I'll try. I have no objects which IM people--it sounds like a repulsive thing to do--and I've never communicated with the "busy' persons from whom these illusory messages bounce.

Thanks for filing a bug report. If it happens again, please forward one of the emails to me and I'll forward it to QA to take a look.
