When will Linden Labs address the issue of club/casino owners who buy a portion of a sim on the mainland and then fill their parcel to the brim (40 avatars) 24/7 thus denying the other residents who have paid for their land and continue to pay tier yet are unable to access/use it let alone sell it (who in their right mind would buy land in a sim that they can't access?)?
These people are stealing resources paid for by other residents in good faith. My first inquiries to an in-world liason was referred to the 'Community Standards' page yet I see no clause there covering resource theft. I have seen this happen repeatedly all over the grid as small landowners get abused and burnt by pushy hustlers. So far as it goes it seems to be one of the more 'successful' business plans operated by low-lifes who come into SL offering nothing other than camping chairs and eyesores.
Will Linden Labs take a stand for the smaller landholders in SL or will we have to listen to yet more mealy-mouthed cop-out platitudes as Linden Labs attempts to wash its hands of the blatant racketeering going on and watch the mainland deteriorate even further?
