Hi Jessy,
Jean Linden is our new Community Manager with a focus on the Feature Voting Tool. If there's massive proposals like that which are going missed, she should know at once. jean@lindenlab.com or IM her inworld. In weeks previous, I know I got a spate of questions about several 500+ vote proposals that went without Linden comments, so I made sure they did. One example is this:
http://secondlife.com/vote/vote.php?get_id=422
Also, Angel Fluffy is an excellent resource. He started a Feature Voting Tool awareness group, and is well-acquainted with "lost" proposals to bring to our attention.
Now, what you're describing sounds pretty overwhelming. If there's any specific issues I can personally help you with, just as in the past, don't hesitate to let me know.

Jean has my sympathies if she's new and being thrown into the deep end. I aleady made a post a few pages back in Answers with a list off the Feature Proposal page. Fluffy has made many. [Went and looked up my last post on the Feature Proposals /139/a0/132609/1.html ]
As to specific issues:
1) Centralise Communications between Linden Lab and the Residents. You can't do that on the blog. We can't start talks there. Blogs are good for announcements, but not for communication. You can get input there on items you bring up, but we are not able to bring up issues there. The removal of the General and L&E forums took away a emans of gaining information. Bring it back. Be tougher on problem makers. ie, manage them instead of letting them turn into the cesspool they were. Letting the community be split into all these Resident run sites is a pathetic cop out.
2) Either make both the Main Grid and the Teen Grid Open Enrollment, or require payment information for the Main Grid. Who the heck was the moron who thought it was a good idea locking the Teen Grid while leaving the Main Grid open? Fire that idiot! All this decision did was make the Main Grid more attractive to the underage. LL can not keep adults out of the Teen Grid by requiring Teens to supply information only an adult can obtain. You can not keep Teens off the Main Grid by leaving it open. The whole reasoning behind the move to open the Main Grid is asine.
3) Get the information out now about the hacking of the system. Who -might- be affected? Was it regulated to only certain names? (Some systems catagorise by names). Certain numbers? Random? What is LL doing to fix it? What companies are they contracting with to do thier security? There's not a damn thing on the blog, so don't even tell me to keep looking there. I shouldn't have to. I contracted with LL in good faith. I gave them my payment information to process transactions on the faith that LL would take all nessicary steps to ensure protection of my privacy and my credit. Well, LL did not.
4) Start talking to us (the Residents) about things needing fixed in SL. There are bugs that date back years. I know, I talk to my fellow Residents. I wish LL did. Quite frankly, stop all new features, period, until you fix the current platform. It's been broke since I joined last year and not gotten any better. The new features do not make up for the lack of performance. A fancy camera system does not make up for editing tools still having issues.
Or textures still not being able to be protected-full perms are needed for use so a creator can not protect thier work. How about the micro-plots of 16m where people put up billboards to block the view? If I wanted advertising in my backyard, I'd load up Google. Let's look that the avatars themselves have not made any progress in over a year. How many want more attach points or just feet that don't look like paws? Simline crossing? What about the fact that Havok4 just rolled off the line? What's LL using? How about a backup to our inventories? A way to save all those memories.
I'm waiting to see some management from Linden Lab, Torley. I haven't yet. I see a bunch of monkeys around a football.
