Let me guess... you broke the joints, or is this a new feature?
My windchimes have exploded. I try to restart one, the whole sim crashed. Thank you LL for destroying my chimes. When do I get a refund?

I was unaware of joints breaking at this stage, so it sounds like a bug. Gimme a copy of your chimes, if you can, and I'll try to examine why they cause the simulator to crash.
That said, I was just thinking this morning about how I'm going to have to really break joints soon. The current joint system stands in the way of progress as I try to clean up the physics engine in preparation for better things. As I mentioned somewhere else a long time ago, it is unclear if I will be able to maintain joints as we make some drastic but necessary changes to the physics engine; I'm probably going to have to nerf joints for a while (a release cycle, maybe two) until we have new and improved joints.
