New Nasty Bomb

I learned about a brand new (to me) toy for the execrable urchins who are allowed to annoy and attack hard working business owners. The material I stocked my booth with in a friend's mall was abruptly returned to me this morning. When she logged on, I asked what had happened.

Someone had left 15 "missiles" on her property. Somehow, when she returned them, they took a goodly amount of her own and her renters' prims with them

As if that wasn't bad enough, she reported it to Live Help and asked for the sim to be rolled back to before the bombs. Live Help declined. So she was up half the night trying to repair the damages.

Nobody referred her to a Linden until the two of us were talking this morning and I suggested that she do that. Then the system went down so I have no idea what happened from there.

Personally, I hope both the people who make these misslies as well as the people who use them get permanently banned. It would also be nice if they got prosecuted. This sort of thing needs to be seriously discouraged.

That's unfortunate. One clarification is, in heated moments of grief, I have seen unintentional object returns where someone is quickly returning other people's litter and then they accidentally return their own home or shop too because they click through the confirmation dialogs without reading the names. :( Always sad. However, if this was a bug with a solid reproduction--and I've not seen one yet--a bug report should definitely be filed from the HELP menu to prevent this sort of thing from happening again.

If the missiles were really intrusive and disruptive, that'd likely be Disturbing the Peace and is against the Community Standards. Seems like it may be too late for that now but just wanted to let you know in case it happens again in the future (which I hope it doesn't).
