Hi!

As you can probably guess, this question is about Linux :D

Any updates on the release date for Linux? We've been told, it would be done quickly after 1.9 is out, provided that there are no problems in the build. So .. are there problems? Did it build at all? Is it already built but merely needs packaging?

Come on, guys, communicate! Do it like this: /263/73/93329/1.html
This really helps keeping up the anticipation in a good way. Don't tell us you get back to us "soon after" and then just hide in the shadows. Talk to us! We don't bite! ...not much! :)

Phillip said on the Town Hall meeting, that LL was doing great in financial means, and that you were hiring people for various tasks. So hire one for the Linux client, if you can't keep up with your own promises.

BTW: Thanks, Torley, for the answer on the client update page, but ... it's still online, happily announcing 1.8.4.7, making people download a useless tarball. It can't be SO hard to change a website to reflect the actual status.

Again: Communicate! Please!

Zi! It's really encouraging how forward you are about communication. That's really, really pleasant and productive for all involved. :)

As you know from Karen's post, how much she cares!

I'll forward this info RIGHT AWAY too, and I'm sorry the text on the website hasn't been changed yet!
