Annoying Font error

this is an annoying font error that occurs now and then, mostly when I have played for some time. Is there annything I can do to fix it without being forced to restart SL?

Rickel, I've had something similar appear to happen to me--but this was when I manually changed the font on purpose. Those vertical lines look pretty strange. More details would be helpful, e.g. outlining what you've already tried and what you haven't. Also, consider the following basic troubleshooting steps:
  1. uninstall and reinstall SL from scratch
  2. install SL on a new Windows logon username and see if the problem happens. In some cases, there may be external software that is interfering.
I'd also recommend posting in Technical Issues to ask if anyone else is having the same problem; I'm not familiar with this in particular but it'd be good to have more info!

If you can come up with a series of steps to reproduce this--and better yet--can find others having the same problem, please don't hesitate to send a bug report inworld from HELP menu ---> REPORT BUG so we can have a better understanding.
