Dearly Darlings,
Have you fixed the gift certificates so we can give presents to exisiting premium members for the Christmas season NOT knocking them back to new status yet? I asked via telephone over three weeks ago...no answer yet.

Hi,
Gift certificates processing was recently updated. The original intent of "Give the Gift of Second Life" was to enable residents to gift Premuim accounts (or lengthen the time on an existing Premium account).
For a time, Gift Certificates added a credit to accounts that was to be used for upgrading. This process became problematic when recipients failed to upgrade or upgraded incorrectly. The new functionality is more direct and removes a step that often caused a failure.
Per terms of service, Premium account holders are still required to have a billing source on file.
