Hi Torley, thanks for your reply in the thread below:

/139/8c/124206/1.html

OK here is my worry: The residents who rent whole sims from me have estate access, so they're able to access the ban list, change textures, etc, ie as estate managers. I just don't want them being able to set the land for sale, for obvious reasons, they're renting, not owning. So will I, as estate owner, be able to ensure that those residents with estate access won't be able to sell the land?

I am lucky to have great residents, and don't believe anyone would try anything like that. But imagine if it did happen. If someone renting a sim from me 'sells' all the land in that sim, and then those purchasers are then only to be told by me they own nothing, and they have to clear their stuff? It would only take one incident like this to cause ripples of distrust across the whole estate land 'sales' model. Do you understand my concerns?

Thanks in advance for your reply :-)

Hi again Hiro! I don't think there's such a degree of granularity at present as what you describe--it makes me think of useful instances in which you'd want to have Estate Owner-only powers that Managers don't have.

I will check with Tess Linden to see if what you describe is, or is likely possible.

Estate owners/managers have god-like powers now, so I would not suggest that you put your residents in the estate managers list just for the small convenience of setting allow/ban lists on land that they already own. If they want to do that, they can do it by parcel. A renter could do a lot more damage than just reselling your land snce they're pretty much acting just like you. This sounds more like a feature of setting parcel/ban lists for multiple parcels at once?
