Educators Mailing List

I sent a request to Pathfinder Linden (3+ weeks ago) to be added to the Educators mailing list and have not heard back.
Realizing that this may have been the result of using my SL name only and not indicating why I would like to be added I sent a second request (5 days ago) stating my RL name and brief yet detailed description of what educational purpose I have for SL (supported by a RL University).

What I want to know is:

Is Pathfinder Linden experiencing such a high volume of requests that they are too much to respond to in a timely manner?

Is there some way to make the process move a bit faster?

It is implied in SL Education literature that this mailing list is for people involved in education in RL. Is this assumption correct?

I am having a difficult time grasping the opportunities for a university sponsored virtual classroom in SL. I find the resources regarding education (wiki etc) very vague and was hoping the mailing list would help.
And, yes, I have also recently requested specific information from education@lindenlab.com :)

Reply much appreciated, thank you!

Good lord, I see what Pathfinder works on sometimes and I wonder how he keeps up. The man is a machine with his many projects.

I most certainly hope your request didn't get lost!

Seraphima (what a beautiful name), you can actually sign up for the Educators mailing list yourself, and more info's also on this page:

Yup, an expanded elaboration of what RL educators can do in SL is available here:

I'm also gonna forward this to Path to make sure he didn't miss out on ya.

Cheers. :)
