Creating/Editing Gestures Is Broken

There is a problem with creating and editing gestures. It has been reported by many people in the forum and yet the problem is not listed on the known issues list.

Basically the problem is that you can't create new gestures that work (they'll show up
on the gesture list); and editing existing gestures will disable them.
