streaming with alpha (chroma keying)

Is it, or will it be possible to have a video stream with alpha transparency? the ability to select one colour as transrarent would be very cool. I've seen (as an example) V-jaying software that allows multiple simultaneous instances of this at little cost to frame rate.

mo, that would totally trip me out for a rave party--I know exactly what you're referring to. To do this based on the current system, QuickTime--which is used to stream video in SL--would have to allow for it. I don't think it does, or at least, I haven't seen such an example come up yet.
