Due to Search > Places not working, parcel listing fees weren’t charged this week. (The option’s found in About Land > Options tab as “Show in Search > Places.)
Classifieds were charged normally Why were Classifieds charged when they are practically unusable? While I can find my shop by name, I can't find it entering words in the description, like 'trains', 'toys', etc. I'd like to ask for a refund (I already did ask for it in a bug report, but no reply, as usual). |

Please switch back to the old classifieds system.

The way Classifieds work now is undoable.
I realize the reasons why you did this, but its almost impossible to find anything like this.
And if i want my shop to survive, i need to make a classified for each category of product !!
That would almost cost me over 500$L per week extra (+-10 extra classifieds).
Please consider returning to the previous system untill LL can provide us with a decent Search-function.
/me gets on one knee and starts to beg.

This is insane! Can someone please get us an answer on what is happening with classified adverts and when we can expect a refund for this last week?
Why are classifieds adverts still be charged normally when the service is plainly broken and worthless?
I know your upto your eyeballs in database load issues, but please - this is a service we PAY EXTRA FOR !

Merged these. I am so sorry there's not been a "Classifieds refund" update yet. I've asked again to see what's new; currently, a decision hasn't been made, but I PROMISE I will post it quickly on the Official Linden Blog for all to see, after learning. Please understand it takes care to make these decisions, and thanks for your patience. This goes for everyone concerned about it. Also re: limited Classifieds functionality, work continues on that. We're not announcing an ETA until we can be reasonably sure turning it back on isn't going to result in a deep-seated issue that jolts the database harshly again.
