I have sat here for the past few weeks, and have wondered, and have supported... even in magazine interviews... LL's status and SL as a whole. But, the old adage, the customer is always right, is beginning to strike me here. When will LL start listening to their customers? How many more gifted, talented people do we have to lose? Every day I get another announcement from someone whom I have admired, whose creativity has struck me some of the best of the best, they are leaving by the droves. It is heartbreaking. Philip, SL is a wonderful idea, great in its potential to be one of the best, but lately it is failing poorly. I do understand the lack of employees and the infulx of new accounts coming in. But this needs fixed badly. In between the downtimes, the price hikes and now this copying thing...not to mention the billing probs, which I am still waiting on an answer about is no wonder people are leaving. It is sad. Such a great idea, is going down the toilet so to speak because of one major problem I am seeing... no one is listening to the customers. Whether you agree or disagree with them they are speaking and (the customer is always right). Please fix these issues, before the SL world goes to pot. I for one will remain and keep holding on, because I do believe in this product and realize it is going through growing pains...but please do listen, some of these creators are so very gifted and put so much thought into their product, do not take that away from them and let some silly bot ruin it for everyone. Please.

Sana, thank you for taking the time to write this to us. Not sure if you've seen all the related posts on the Linden blog concerning our growth and our own perspectives on how much we care about the community. Your post has some general abstracts I don't know the full extent of ("billing problems"? "these issues"?) but if you have specific, focused ideas for solutions, by all means, let us know. It's one thing to be passionate, it's another to channel that into distilled achievables. You can email me personally if you spot something easy to fix which is causing pain and should've been addressed long ago, a specialty of mine is aggregating those "lateral obstacles"... torley@lindenlab.com T'care.
