Chat closing with return...box is un-checked

Torley, in this thread you asked about the "close chat upon hitting return" box in preferences ->chat

I checked mine and the box is unchecked and it still closes when I hit return. Is this a bug or an intended change? If it's a bug I will surely make a bug report because it is INCREDIBLY annoying. If it's an intended change who do I contact to request it to be changed back? Escape works just fine why add enter?


*edit* thank you! disregard. You answered it in the other thread The reason it is annoying is that many times I accidentally hit enter twice and I am typing away and there is no chat window....so it's not INCREDIBLY annoying, but it is annoying none-the-less.

Thanks musicteacher--we're continuing to collect feedback on how Residents feel about this. Whether it'll be a thing to "get used to" or an ongoing nuissance weeks later, we don't know yet. But I certainly do care. Have a good one!
