Fairly simple question, what in the heck do they mean? I can't log-in to my account for at least 15 minutes now becase the simulator I was in went ridiculously slow and I had to force close Second Life because it wouldn't do anything at all (teleports presumably need you to contact the sim you're leaving before it can begin).
But the thing is, I want to log-in back at home, which is a different sim, it's not really all that great really, especially as all I want to do is nip back home to stop a few scripts in case they go beserk while I'm not around!
Also, as a secondary question, is it policy to confirm a bug-report was read when it is submitted on the main grid? Maybe I've been spoiled by Milo's diligent answering of Preview bug reports, but I've reported a few tiny, super-simple to fix bugs (e.g Mac clients not accepting media URLs with spaces in them because they aren't converting to %20, know this because doing so yourself fixes it), but received no response, and there's been a number of builds since the report. I know you get an e-mail with the number, but it doesn't really confirm if anyone's going to do something, you know?

"The System is logging you out" means that the simulator you are connected to is shutting down. Sometimes this happens because a Linden or an Estate Owner chooses to restart a sim, in this case a warning is given before it actually happens usually. Sometimes it is because the sim is crashing, there is no warning in this case because we do not know before hand that it is going to happen.
Getting logged out by the simulator should not block you from logging in for 15 minutes. If it is, you should submit a bug report with as much detail as possible. However, if it is a serious crash it may require human intervention to come back up. These cases are relatively rare but can leave a sim down for a while.
In general no response is given for bug reports submitted from the main grid. ALL bug reports are read and investigated though, and if further information is needed then you will be contacted.
The media URL bug you mentioned does sound relatively easy to fix, unless it truely is only on the mac. Then something wierd is happening. I have not looked at it so do not know it's status. However, you should not expect immediate results however quick you believe the fix to be. Even for a trivial fix the bug report must be investigated and verified, put on a bug list (ranked by priority), fixed and QA'd. This process can take a while, especially for lower priority bugs.
