Hi there, as an owner of a Private Island, I was wondering something. When I choose someone to be an Estate Manager in the Estate Tools, then go into the About Land Tools & select the no outside scripts option, why does it disable the Estate Manager scripted items? The Estate Manager has almost the same ability as an Estate Owner. Below in picture 1.9 it is a snapshot of the release notes. Also below is a snapshot of the release notes for 1.12. After reading the notes for 1.12, it sounds closer to what I was hoping to see but I’m not interested in creating an alt just to justify a 3rd person to fill a group land when we should be able to treat Estate Managers on an equal with Estate Owners if we choose to do so. Is it possible when enabling the no outside script option in the About Land Tools section to not affect the Estate Manager as it does not affect the Estate Owner? Thanks & have a great day

Hi Brock! I think this has to do with the difference between parcel-level controls (About Land > Objects tab as you refer to) and estate-level controls in World > Region/Estate. Super-important: 1.12 will allow you to have groups with 2 members. So no need for a "3rd wheel". And also, did you check to see if the Estate Owner is the same as the Parcel Owner in this case? If so, that might be the cause of some confusion. Offhand, I don't think Estate Owner abilities override what's set at the parcel-level so outside scripts wouldn't run unless Estate Owner = Parcel Owner... but let me know if you find differently. An area I have to do more research in. Anyway, by having both people in the right Roles with the corresponding Actions in the new Group system, then you and your Estate Managers (also in the Group of the group-owned land) will be able to run outside scripts. I know it isn't as direct as enabling all parcel powers for Estate Owner and Managers by default, but it's still doable. Have a great day too... thanx to Jack for helping me with this.
