Hi!
First off, thank you for making the decision not to upgrade yesterday. This was a whooole lot better than a night of problems - it probably also meant ya'll did't hafta stay up late fixin' stuff.
Two questions:
The "Missing Image" avatar problem seems to still be pretty rampant since that system is changed. I assume this is being worked on? Are there any *effective* workarounds? Rebaking does not seem to be doing it anymore, nor is relogging.
Teleporting has also been tricky, at least in some places. Definitely in my home sim, Hundertwasser. My home location is okay, but any other LMs that used to work fine are no longer doing it.. Most (possibly all, but I haven't checked 'em all to make sure) are dumping me on a corner of the property. Items with TP scripts are okay - it's just LMs that seem to be the trouble. Is this just a random bug with me/home sim/etc., or a known issue on a larger scale?

Hi Mari. (1) We're still working on getting the "MISSING IMAGE" probs fixed, I know it's so annoying. Especially since you don't see yourself that way but people around you do. So yes, without a question -- there was internal testing being done when I checked earlier today. In some cases, I found that I: changed my outfit (affected parts), rebaked textures, cleared cache, and relogged. Just to cover those bases; and then later I changed back to my original outfit. I don't know if this is still guaranteed to work, but we're keeping a close eyes so these troubles will be resolved without the need for a workaround in the first place. (2) I know there were earlier general issues with teleports, it's several days later so please email me if you're still having probs, I'll check further! |
