Unfortunate side-effects of todays attack

Well, as I am sure any of you who allow email traffic to come from Second Life will find out there is another (not so) hidden side-effect of todays spam attack. As I discovered my regular email account is now filled with the same messages we were muting in game :/

If I'd have thought of it, I'd have disabled e-mail notification prior to log off during the attack. Perhaps something to think about for next time.

Ana.

Footnote: I discovered you could turn it off from the web. However, this means I won't be getting legitimate business traffic between the grid reopening and my logging back in. You just can't win :)

That is a nasty side-effect and I agree things which are muted shouldn't be allowed to send offline IMs. I believe this is a known bug, thanks for your patience on that one!
