Can't LL just make a new permissions for creating objects so if someone tried to do one of these attacks, the objects would continue to ask permissions every time a new one is created. They would have to sit there accepting permission to create objects for every single ball they make. Then institute sanctions on how many permissions accepts can be accepted inside 5 min, and if they go over that limit it kicks them from the grid, and locks their account. I know it may seem harsh and may at times lead to problems, but if your having to have 10,15,20 objects with permissions to create objects inside 5 min, what could you be doing (note you may want to give everyone a day or two without this safeguard to reset up their shops and vendors).

While we are deeply investigating future ways to prevent this sort of thing from happening again, we'd want to do it in a way that doesn't impede fair and creative content creation--there were previous discussions on this in the forums as well. For example, scripted guns and fireworks often need to rez many objects at once. Thanks for your suggestion, John.
