If an object was only IMing/sending objects the only way to mute it was by opening the mute list manually entering it's name then muting it. Now that the mute list doesn't have that entry box we are at the mercy of spammers.

[UPDATE] Just asked for advice from James Linden--our "Master of Mute"--and sounds doable, so I've put in a request for it to be re-added. Please keep in mind that spammers can still circumvent muting by name (as opposed to object ID) by changing the name of their object or simply naming it "Object" to interfere, but I know it has its uses. Have a nice day!
