Hi,

Why are Lindens reading the forums and on serious questions, choosing to ignore them? This is frustrating to say the least.

Seeing as how there are very few answers being offered this Sunday, my guess is that few Linden's are reading the forums today.

Occasionally I'll look over the questions here and answer those for which I know the answer (usually technical things or issues about some feature that I helped implement) and ignore those that I don't (such as most policy questions, or those regarding some subsystem that I was never involved in). It is likely that several other Lindens use similar logic when chosing the questions they answer.

You did not itemize the partulcar important questions being ignored today but I assume you are talking about your own. Looking back I find your question about why Linden Labs is killing Second Life. That looks like a question that will never get an answer because it presupposes a conclusion that most Lindens would disagree with, and there is no way to provide a simple informative answer. That is, it is impossible to answer the question... all one can do is disagree with it and point out the fallacy of its logic. Rather than beat you up over that in a reply most Lindens would politely let such a question go unanswered.

All of that said, I don't think your question is a total waste of time on your part. On Monday several Lindens will glance over the recent questions and say, "Wow look at all the questions about tier pricing. Maybe we should answer a bunch of these questions in the blog or have a town hall". Your untouchable question will add some weight to the general impression that people get when they read this forum, and will probably help convince someone to provide answers to some of the real questions you have.
