Are comments on Knowledge Base articles read?
--- addendum ---
In case this wasn't clear, I don't mean comments about the KB made here; I mean comments made using the comment button on the KB article pages themselves.
----------------------
I'm just asking because someone posted a request for updating a KB article in this forum and they were advised to file a bug report, but their request to have the KB article revised was ignored completely in the response. So I copied their post and pasted it into the comment portion of the KB article mentioned in the post.
If the KB comments are read and responded to in an appropriate manner, then folks who want the KB changed should be advised to use that feature; if they aren't read then the comment links should be removed from the KB.

No, they're not really read, sorry -- we don't have a system in place for that (yet)... that was overlooked and I am sorry. What we're going to be doing is getting additional help soon to boost the Knowledge Base, and I hope a Linden point-of-contact for stuff JUST LIKE what you mentioned. I turned off the comment system for the time being to manage expectations; I don't want peeps asking in the wrong place, at least not until we have a better way -- for now, please inform Support. About this specifically, can you please email me (torley@lindenlab.com) with the specifics of what needs to be updated? I will get to it, promise. Thankee.
