I may be reading it wrong or iam reading the wrong post entirely. There was a grid attack on sunday april 30 right? SL went down for hours cause of this attack. What i like to know is what happen to this guy for doing this? Only thing in the police blotter for april 30 is some one got suspened for 7 days. I read a post that SL was working with authorities to prosecute this person. Has this person been removed from the game or just a slap on the hand saying bad bad? I dont care about knowing names or anything about this person. I would like to know is the person still in sl? Will this person be back after a few days off? MY big question what is being done to punish this person ? Do we the people of sl have a right to know this?

Hi Mystic--important happenings do get chronicled in Announcements & News, please have a look there for more details.

A related previous question on SL Answers is this:

/139/58/103826/1.html

and grid--Global Attacks--are absolutely not allowed in Second Life. As it says in the Community Standards:
Global Attacks
Objects, scripts, or actions which broadly interfere with or disrupt the Second Life community, the Second Life servers or other systems related to Second Life will not be tolerated in any form. We will hold you responsible for any actions you take, or that are taken by objects or scripts that belong to you. Sandboxes are available for testing objects and scripts that have components that may be unmanageable or whose behavior you may not be able to predict. If you chose to use a script that substantially disrupts the operation of Second Life, disciplinary actions will result in a minimum two-week suspension, the possible loss of in-world inventory, and a review of your account for probable expulsion from Second Life.
