Pardon me for asking this question if it has been answered before, but a forum search in Linden Answers failed to define this question for me so.....

I own a box set of very large prims purchased from SL Exchange (Copy ((some Mod rights but more limited than the standard norm)) and No Transfer)

I was told by SL Exchange they are legal to use within SL

By large prims I mean 20-20-20, 30-30-30, 100-100-0.5 etc

So my question (broke down for quick Linden Answer)

1) Are they legal

(Yes - No)

2) Are they tolerated (in the absence of complaints from other residents) on your own land

(Yes - No)

3) as in (2) above are they tolerated at present but likely to be made invalid by furure client/server software changes

(Yes - No)

4) Is the use of large prims illegal and banned by Linden

(Yes - No)

Thanks in advance for a swift reply as I have no desire to breach Linden rules, oh and yes they do work normally for me with a slight tweak)

The problem with mega-prims is they can affect the performance of a sim, meaning that one person's use can affect multiple Residents. Consequently, we are thinking the best action to take is the following:

1,2) Mega-prims will be allowed on estates where one person is responsible (islands)
3) They are likely to be made illegal on the mainland
4) Not yet.
