Most island orders are completed within 3-5 business days, but the process may take up to two weeks.
That is two weeks most... that was the time table we had in mind when we ordered our island. We have human resources allocated to the project according to the time table given by your help pages. Now i read on the blogs and in here that it will take up to (or more then) 6 weeks.
This is bringing our SL project to a grinding halt, wich does have financial consequenses for us. We have a RL business to take care of, not a hobby business. Symphaty to the guys that have to work overtime to get the islands online. Hower, that is really not a problem of your customers (that means, us).
I guess you lindens would be similarly unhappy if we payed our bills 6 weeks late.
I have emailed support and the congierge. No reply whatsoever (unless you call an auto-responder a "reply"
. I have also called the linden lab office (long distance from the Netherlands) by phone but i only got voice mail after the initial guy that answered the phone. Why am i totally not surprised that I wasn't called back in reply to the voice mail ?
Besides getting the island delivered I also need to have the rediculous trading limit of $150 USD per month removed. Considering I have spend 1250 USD on the island order, I cannot do any USD->L$ transactions at all.
