Resident presence statistics?

Greetings.

I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this request; I'm posting here because it involves information that can presumably only be supplied by Linden Lab.

I'm writing on behalf of the Caledon Free Library, in Caledon Tamrannoch. The Head Librarian there, JJ Drinkwater, was trying to find a way to help volunteers for the Library to schedule their time there so that they'd stand the best chance of meeting and helping the largest number of residents.

After some discussion about when residents tended to be in the sim, I suggested that perhaps Linden would be able to provide some simple statistics about when the largest number of residents were around (time of day, and/or day of week).

If this is possible, please reply here. If this request would be better directed elsewhere, I'll be happy to do so if you can tell me where. Thanks for any information you can provide.

Hiya Mac--I don't know an easy way offhand to get these for you that wouldn't be time-consuming and accurate over the long haul. I could tell you what the peak time for visitors is on a current day, but don't know of an automated way to generate the data for you from our internal logs.

I think there are ways you can keep a tally with scripting, though. Like a modified variant of a visitor counter which just counts who's come by.

If I hear of a better way I'll let you know.
