I asked a few questions regarding how to know who exactly moves/removes forum posts.

I was given the answer to the question of how to report a bad post with a hyperlink to the forum guidelines.

That is not what I wanted to know.

I wish to know HOW residents can know who EXACTLY moves or removes their posts from the forum. This for the sake of ACCOUNTABILITY AND CLARIFICATION. Because it is not a bad post that needs to be reported, but 'bad' moves/removals of them.

May we know the schedule of the resmods or employees so we may know who to contact for the rationale for the moving or removing for some degree of accountability? A list at the bottom of a site does nothing to tell anyone who has moved or deleted a post so that clarification can be had. Perhaps a 'signature' would be helpful and more appropriate.

If you feel you do not wish to answer these things, then by all means say you don't. But please forgo answering questions not asked. Redux is only good when the original was a hit.

Hiya Margot: we like to keep it simple. If a post gets moved, there should be a fresh posting at the end made by who made the move.

For example, if I move a post to Off-Topic, I'll reply, just as I am now, and say:
Moved to Off-Topic.
It will, of course, put my name next to the post, so you know it was me.

You can ask Robin, Jeska, or myself about incorrect moderator actions--feel free to send me a Private Message.

Take care.
