Ok Torley, I'm sorry. I've just realized only you made these kind of jobs. And my question "why" was not enough bright.

So, "Why there is not a team for that?". Why you only can/want make that (when you've time)?
I know a lot of people will ask that. But.. well:
1- an e-mail address to send requests (or a form in website: will be better to manage different kind of requests)
2- a queue that manage requests
3- a team that receive these requests and resolve when it can (10 requests per day can be a good solution)

Btw, is an idea and, before you try to suggest me, I will not put in features proposal: I've not availables votes and I dont believe in this tool, sorry :)

Inshort, Imajica--because hiring more Lindens requires money. And with so many things that need to be worked on, this isn't a priority. We already have very long queues as it stands. I deal with 100s of issues personally on a weekly basis., and I'm just one Linden.

So it sounds good as an idea, but not realistic. Believe me, if there was a Resident way to do it, we'd tap into the community happily.
