The following questions were asked by cinda Hoodoo as a comment on the Linden blog.
I have several questions you can answer please,
1) what was the final outcome of the data base hacking, has anyone discovered just how much of our personal information and/or financial infomation was downloaded by the hacker ?
2) So let me please get this straight, just for my own peace of mind, only a Linden can start a discussion issue on the blogs ?
3) When will the bug that causes our avs to leap in the air and fall flat on our faces when we enter back into the chat line be fixed ?
4) Has the “friends” populated listing been fixed yet ?
5) last one i promise. Has everyone been able to log back into SL again after today? I have some late renters and i dont want to boot them if they cant get back in to pay..
Thank you for you prompt response in advance, to my questions. cinda

Hi cinda! I'll try to answer your questions here... 1. The FAQ has the latest information on what we know about the security breach. Ginsu Linden also offered some additional perspective in an answer on this forum.2. The blog posts are initiated by Lindens. If you have questions you can ask them in this forum. If you want to talk with other Residents about specific topics the content forums, including tech issues, are available. General discussions can be held at any of a number of Resident run forums. 3. This isn't a bug, it's a feature. When you hit 'enter' on a blank line of chat it closes the chat bar. Then if you hit 'e' or 'f' it causes the av to jump, because you've left chat mode, so you're giving the av a movement command. The idea is to distinguish between chat and movement (known as focus). 4. The problem with 'presence' as this one is known, is being worked on. It may make the Wednesday release (9/13), but if not will be rolled in as soon as possible. 5. We've answered close to 2000 phone calls today, and are in the process of calling back others who couldn't get through. I hope that by the end of the week everyone who wants to reset their password will have done so.
