Gee thanks so much form making two intelligent people look like asses:

[removed unconsensually-posted chat log]

Apparently, a recent change to Secondlife has removed the ability of people other than owners from seeing error messages.
I verified this by signing in with another computer twice. Once as an alt (I saw no errors) and again as myself (I saw errors). Clearing cache would heve done no good.

this was the error (so fast that it overloads chat and freezes me up):

Ridable Flipper - Aqua: Script trying to set camera parameters but PERMISSION_CONTROL_CAMERA permission not set!
Ridable Flipper - Aqua: Script trying to trigger animations but PERMISSION_TRIGGER_ANIMATION permission not set

I think a key question to ask here is: what are the benefits for showing script errors for non-owners? Especially if they can't do anything to fix the problem, and would be better off asking the owner--or creator (in some cases it's the same). Let's consider this.
