Hi! We accidently sold some groupowned land. When I say accidently, its because price was set very high so noone would buy it, but someone did. And as pleased as I am with selling overpriced land, we have some renters in the landowning group. Now my question is: if I kick these renters now, will they still get their share of the landsale? That has already occured? Or is payment based on who is actually a member by the time payment is distributed? If would be very nice if I could get an answer fast, before payment is done. I rather not kick them if there is no point. Thank you EDIT: Thanks Torley

Hey Eva! Your question came just at the right time as I was doing some research about the new Groups system--learn more about that, referencing info from Kelly and Robin Linden, right here: http://secondslog.blogspot.com/2006/05/update-progress-on-group-improvements.htmlHow it currently works in SL 1.9.0.x is: if you don't want the renters to receive group dividends from the land sale payout, kick them now. (As cruel as that can sound!) Distribution is made at the time of payment to the existing members of the group, so it won't pay someone if they're not in the group. Related to the new Groups system, in the not-so-distant future, you'll be able to control WHO gets paid--no ejections necessary.
