Freeze framing

I've been in SL since version 1.6 (don't let the reg date fool you) and I have NEVER had freeze framing occur until today AFTER the down... errr upgrade. There is nothing wrong with my pc or my connection so please don't even suggest there is. I own a pc shop in RL so I do know when something is wrong with either my pc or my connection.

Relogging only temporarily fixes the freeze framing. I haven't done anything to my pc that would cause the freeze framing. There have been no changes made to this pc in months of any kind. I have not installed any software (except for the new versions of SL) in about 2 months so I know that isn't creating a problem.

The freeze framing has occured in my home sim of Champlain and in the Dark Life sim of Navora. I have cleared cache and I have read the blogs. Nothing has been mentioned about this. And I find it odd that something I had posted on the blog about this problem was there and now all of a sudden it's gone.

I left SL once because of the constant disasterous "upgrades" and only came back because someone suggested I try Dark Life. To be frank, Dark Life is the only reason I am in SL now. I've put up with this mess for more than a year and I'm tired of it. I had to close my SL business because LL would rather give us new "toys" rather than fix the permissions bug (that has been around for months) that causes permission to change while in a vendor after an upgrade. No one wants to have to spend days taking hundreds of items out of thier servers, change the permissions back to what they were before an upgrade, reload the servers, etc., only to have to turn around and do the same thing all over again every week (which has now gone to every two weeks but still.....). Enough is enough!
