IMs and Groups

Here is a Idea for a update, ther are time i come in to second life and dont want bother by some people and or groups on my freind list.
i would like to see a option were i can put some freinds and groups on invisable,

This idea literally has thousands of forum posts and major voting proposals behind it. I don't have an ETA on when the first phase of this will be available, regrettably, and it's likely because of all the other busy projects (new Groups system, anti-griefing tools and parcel controls, XML-UI, increased focus on Resident experience and stability, better update scheduling, physical avatar, and more described at Be The Change) currently happening.

Nevertheless, it IS important, it WILL continue gnaw at our collective conscience, and oh--forum searches will at least fill you in on the background. Like today's:
