Because in the USA, gambling is restricted to 18+, so it stands to reason it's "mature", yes? No?

There's an important distinction to make here: gambling is *not* allowed on Teen Second Life for the age limit reason you state. Can't have purely luck-based games--gotta have elements of skill to win 'em.
However, on adult Second Life, "PG" is a general guideline as part of the Community Standards and not necessarily the equivalent of the movie-theater PG rating... since everyone on Main Grid is supposed to be over 18, even in PG regions, throwing dice, flipping coins, etc. is alright. A good example are bingo games I see played in PG regions. _____________________
