The Land Situation

Greetings Lindens, one and all!

Having recently purchased an island, I was somewhat dismayed to learn it will take approximately 8 or so working days to receive it. My account was charged immediately upon my purchase however. So, a few questions?

Would it not be more like standard business practice to not bill your account for your island purchase until the purchase was delivered?

Could you not reduce the wait on islands with the current glut of sim servers you have coming online? I saw 41 sims added to one area, and about that in another, all in the past week. With such a glut of land for sale, why on earth are you adding so many sims to the main grid, yet making island purchasers wait for so long?

Greetings Jennifer! I'm sorry I don't know about the details regarding your island arrangement--if you purchased from the Land Store, then yes, you will have been billed as you described.
