Ok so I am new to SL. How does one Duck or Crouch? My Avatar is rather tall and I am having problems getting into some rooms and buildings (doorway is to low).
Most games have control keys that let you crawl and crouch using, for example, he Ctrl key or Z key. I find nothing like that in SL.

Thanks for your help.

Update: Since for some reason I cannot post replies I will update my original message. Thanks for the replies you sent to me. To bad about that invisible box around my avatar.

Crouching is not a built in feature of Second Life. You may be able to create or find a custom animation in Second Life that made you crouch.

A very helpful resident sent me an IM after I posted this:
From: someone
Osprey Therian: You can crouch using page down, and crouch-walk a la Groucho with page down+up arrow.

Thanks Osprey!

The original question was "My Avatar is rather tall and I am having problems getting into some rooms and buildings (doorway is to low).
Most games have control keys that let you crawl and crouch using, for example, he Ctrl key or Z key."

The full answer is "you can crouch with page down, or with a custom animation, but this doesn't change the size of your avatar (which is defined by an invisible box around the normal upright character), so you can't crouch down to go through doorways."
