Hi, I am newish and i want to know how can we set preferances so second life does not time out , i want Sl to run continuas in background until i close . Thanks

Hello Pramod, unless you have a specific reason for doing so, I'd generally recommend being present at your Second Life. It'd be boring if everyone was away in a world of zombies and not active, afterall. Via EDIT menu ---> PREFERENCES ---> GENERAL you can set your idle timeout to 600 seconds (10 minutes).
If you want to seek out ways to do this, I'd recommend doing some forum searches... for example, to threads like this: /54/0f/101921/1.html _____________________
