Obviously, this isn't going to have a fixed answer, but hypotheticly, if the you folks were to back up a populated sim, say a private island, roughly how much memory would it take up? discussion of rollbacks has gotten me curious how memory intensive backups are for this type of data.
I don't need an exact answer, that would be impossible... Just something like "On the order of fifty megs" or "On the order of a quarter-gig" or whatever is fine.

(The following are all uncompressed) A very empty but parceled sim is around or under 1MB. Ahern (relatively light as far as objects go) a few weeks ago was ~13MB A very full sim can get into the 100MB+ range.
However, these are all uncompressed text file sizes. They compress (gzip I believe) relatively nicely for storage and transport.
